Is the Sparks VM-2 the Best CCW Holster On The Market?

There's no arguing that the Sparks VM-2 is one of the most successful gun holsters ever produced. A constant 12 to 16 month backlog speaks volumes to both it's popularity and quality. Tony Kanaley over at Sparks has done a fantastic job of keeping the demand up and the quality consistent despite the extended wait time. I really like the fact a single leather craftsman from Sparks is responsible for the creation of the holster from start to finish instead of a typical assembly line set-up commonly found in the industry.
If imitiation is the sincerest form of flattery, then quite a few holster makers are big fans of the VM-2. It's general designed is one of the most copied models on the market today. From a concealment perspective, I can't recall any holster I've ever owned that conceals even remotely as well as my VM2's. I have just about one for every concealed carry handgun I own. I suspect over the years, I've help pay for a car for Tony or his wife.
My only real issue with the VM2 is the wait time. Hell, I forgot that the last order I made when it arrived almost 9 months later. One way to shortcut that process is to buy off Ebay. While you will probably pay more than you really should, it really cuts the waiting time down.
